Tim is Chairman of the Board of Platinum Group. He has had a long and successful career starting and growing companies intrapreneurially and entrepreneurially.
He co-founded a new division of Pearson called Prentice Hall PTR, where he was VP, Global Sales, and Marketing. He was instrumental in growing the business to be the largest in its space in the world, achieving $130,000, 000 in annual revenue when he left to start another business.
He founded and was the Publisher of a consumer business publishing program for Pearson, growing it within 10 years to be one of the top 10 business publishers in the US. He published many NYT and WSJ bestsellers, including the business classic The Fortune at the Bottom of the Pyramid. Other authors included Ken Blanchard, Prime Minister Tony Blair, Rudy Giuliani, Jim Champy, and Jeffrey Gitomer.
In the last few years, Tim has been advising and working with companies large and small in the ed-tech space, including the Times of India Professional Learning Group and JobReady.me, most recently, and—of course—Platinum Group.
Finally, Tim is a Partner and Co-Founder of two other start-ups: Content Associates, a booking agency, and Success Made to Last, a podcast company.
